Day of Reflection: Solitude and the Sunday Mass Collects of Advent

A day of reflection for men & women: Cultivating solitude is essential to the Christian life because it helps to create spaces in us that can only be filled with Christ.  How can prayerful reflection on the Collects for the four Sundays of Advent lead us into a deeper appreciation of solitude, thereby preparing in us the necessary places where we can meet and receive Jesus who longs to dwell in each of us?
